Memberships and leaderboards are connected
TruRace is not built around one giant leaderboard where only the fastest athletes matter. Paid membership tiers connect to prize access, paid leaderboard competition, member race-entry discounts, and repeated strong performances inside fixed calendar leaderboard seasons, while Free members can still join regular matched heats.
The goal is simple: make leaderboard competition feel meaningful for more runners by giving every level a race to win and a standing to chase.

Winning should be hard. It should not be impossible.
Free tier access
Free includes regular matched-heat participation and profile building. Outside the pilot, it does not include standard cash prize access, paid leaderboard eligibility, or member race-entry discounts. TruRace may occasionally select a small number of free runners for prize opportunities, but that is discretionary and not guaranteed.
Paid competition access
Paid tiers add Prize Value, Prize Builder, paid leaderboard eligibility, member race-entry discounts when available, and standard cash-prize access. Higher tiers build Prize Value faster and store more. Welcome Prize Value is not repeated on resubscription; upgrades top up only the difference to the higher tier welcome amount. Prize Value is a promotional membership benefit, not cash, a wager, or a withdrawable balance.

Core leaderboard rules
- Paid membership tiers use fixed calendar leaderboard seasons.
- Only verified results count toward leaderboard standings.
- Standings are meant to connect separate race mornings into one ongoing competitive season for every level.
- Leaderboards count each member's best 3 races by point total rather than counting every race equally.
- A minimum number of races can be required for full leaderboard eligibility.
- Referral rewards add Prize Value and do not count toward leaderboard standings or payouts.
- Starter leaderboards use annual calendar seasons; Pro and Elite leaderboards use Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec calendar seasons.
- Paid members can race for their Current Prize as often as they have enough Prize Value and TruRace can form eligible competitions.
