Memberships and leaderboards are connected
TruRace is not built around one giant leaderboard where only the fastest athletes matter. Paid membership tiers connect to prize access, paid leaderboard competition, member race-entry discounts, and repeated strong performances inside fixed calendar leaderboard seasons. Free-account runners can compete when they have a Race Pass or other valid event access.
The goal is simple: make leaderboard competition feel meaningful for more runners by giving every level a race to win and a standing to chase.
Fair competition
Winning should be hard. It should not be impossible.
Free account and Race Pass
A free account includes profile building, run syncing, verified performance data, results, and event discovery. A Race Pass adds TruRace competition to one participating event and uses the same Pace, TruRace Heat, and Crew formats as paid members, but rewards are non-cash.
Paid competition access
Paid membership includes partner-race access without a Race Pass fee and unlocks cash prizes. Whole Race Credits unlock predefined award tiers. Credits are redeemed when the competition begins; TruRace separately funds the published winning prize.
Three ways to race
Race Your Pace against a locked target, let TruRace build a Straight or Equalizer heat, or race a self-selected Crew. You choose one primary competition per race.
Keep racing. Start winning.
TruRace memberships are built to support fairer competition, repeated participation, Pace targets, matched rivals, Crew competition, and leaderboards that reward verified wins.
Core leaderboard rules
- Only verified TruRace competition results earn race points.
- Each leaderboard uses the runner's best 3 races.
- A runner needs at least 2 qualifying races to be eligible for a leaderboard award.
- Pace wins earn 5 points; heat-win points increase with verified field size.
- Starter uses one annual paid leaderboard season.
- Pro and Elite use Jan-Jun and Jul-Dec seasons; points can follow a runner between Pro and Elite within the same season.
- Paid leaderboard points must be earned while the runner is in a paid tier.
- Free runners have a separate non-cash leaderboard with prizes valued at $100 / $60 / $40.
